Garth Barns in Wales

Garth Barns in Wales

Garth barns, llanidloes, mid-wales

Llanidloes is the first town on the River Severn (counting from the source); located within the historic county boundaries of Montgomeryshire, Wales. The town offers lovely cafés and small shops, and is known for being a great little market town in Mid-Wales.

Garth Barns are located just two miles off from Llanidloes. The barns are on either side of the former farmyard – now a spacious landscaped courtyard, providing separate parking areas for Hafod and Ty Nant (the two barns), and a garden with a pond and a stream running through. These stunning, top end barn conversions offer spacious, very clean and comfortable accommodation - whether you decide to share or take your own room.

From the exquisite views of the rolling hills to the excellent decor and landscaping, the spacious Garth Barns offer great amenities with the sauna, steam room/shower, pool table and ping pong table plus the boating lake, camp fire, swings and the streams. The picturesque location presents you not only the views, but lovely decoration, friendly staff and a chance for a quiet getaway.

A very serene place with lots of opportunities to either enjoy the countryside walks (you can even get these mapped out for you!), the surroundings, the fresh, crisp, January air through to staying content in one of the multiple common areas relaxing with a book; or socialising with like-minded people over a fun play of ping pong. Tranquility, recharge and refresh your body and your soul with the combination of yoga and nature, that only Wales can offer.

Hafod and the yoga space

Hafod and the yoga space

Hafod is a traditional stone and timber clad barn with a cool modern interior and spacious living areas. There is a large conservatory where the yoga asanas and practices are held. There is also a games room with pool table and front and rear terraces, floor to ceiling windows allowing the light to stream into spaces.

Ty Nant is an oak framed barn over 2 storeys, with a comfortable farmhouse atmosphere. The oak theme continues as you notice the oak beams in the kitchen - and of course the big oak table and other locally made oak items. With the lounge doors opening to the terrace by the stream, you find a big space in the living room to socialise or to hide away, as you prefer.
